I definitely wanted Lana to move to a more rock/blues/country sound from the jump. Original Yayo, Oh Say Can You See, and Pawn Shop Blues are probably her strongest tracks.

Of course we like the new sound but we became stans because of BTD Lana, and even tho BTD is a masterpiece we all trying to get used to the new style which is good also we all love to hear those nostalgic BTD Lana tracks in UV but overall I'm happy she's taking this new direction.

Really though, BTD is one of my fav albums of all time but I did not want her to repeat that on this album, I wouldn't want her to keep making the same thing over and over. If she revisited the sound in the future I'd be here for it but right now this more intimate sound is exactly what I was hoping for

Finally listening to the snippets. Sad Girl and Pretty When You Cry sound like they could be my favorites.

You make a point, but you are going off of SNIPPETS. You are going off :30 second clips so calm down and judge until we hear it's entirety. Just saying. I can't at the people judging an album they haven't even heard yet in full, my gosh.

You got me wrong I'm definately not going off on it! I love it! I'm just adressing the fans that hate the new sound and those that act like this is what they've been waiting for since she started and all of a sudden they're stating flaws in BTD and basically calling it generic pop!

Every album leaks, unless they put it up for streaming first in which case they're effectively leaking it themselves. I think we'll get the album tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

I love BTD:P I really do it's one of my absolute favorite albums I've ever heard but everything I've heard from UV is of a much greater quality in my opinion.
Sure there will be days when I will prefer the smooth sound of BTD over UV but as a whole I think UV will be a lot more interesting and a greater piece of work.
