Indeed. The production of the West Coast instrumental alone is the best I have ever heard. Like how smooth it sounds and the sexy voices and echo's. That's some good proffesional work..
I dont have ignorance towards rock music, I stan for the Smiths, Journey and Breaking Benjamin. So stop with that "ubearable" talk.
I just don't like what is Lana doing with this rock phase she's in, and before you all run and say her demos were rockish, they sounded way better than UV stuff (from what I've heard so far). Auerbach ruined her.
If you read any of his recent interviews you'll know his opinions often clashed with Lana's and in the end she did what she wanted. Also he came in very late in the production cycle when most songs were finished and did minimal if any production changes. The only song he had a major hand in was Florida Kilos. So blaming Dan is kind of baseless when his influence was not huge and it was mostly Lana's decisions.
I've recently became a Lana Del Rey stan. I've always been a fan but West Coast and Ultraviolence turned me into a stan. BB just reconfirmed her status. This is going to be her best album!

I can't stop listening to these snippets,I hate the wait but at the same time I love it, it's getting me so pumped to hear the album, I'm so ready
I love the direction she's taking and I agree that the sound is definately more mature and that she's evolving! But a small part of me was still hoping for some classic Lana-like tracks! Those hip-hop beats mixed with those lavish strings and orchestral numbers were the fresh sound that got everyone in here to be a Lana stan so stop pretending you adore this new sound and like Born To Die is generic pop compared to UV! A little part of all of you was hoping for the same thing no wonder almost everyone's favourite so far are Old Money and Florida Kilos cause they're the closest to BTD and you like the tracks that have the new sound the least! I can't wait for UV it's going to be amazing and perfect for summer nights but I just had to state my opinion
