People need to lay back & enjoy the song & stop comparing it with previous stuff or other's music. It's an Awesome song.

I liked the performance! It looked like she had fun and enjoyed herself, but the song is still very uneventful. Tinie was most definitely rapping live! You could hear his mic when he clapped after he was done.

A good performance, but boring song..

Some people here - especially from a certain stan base - pretend to like her previous doings or even to be familiar with her music and performances - to make an impression that the song/performance is worse than it is in reality, or that they have been heavily disappointed. Just to not show that they dislike Cheryl in general, so their "opinion" in this case will be valid.

Why are their premiering the video right now when the release is so far away?

They really messed that one up. I was going to download it just before I went to the gym and then I saw the release date so I ripped it. She should have made it available almost instantly.

Well, I'm not disappointed with the song. I actually like it. It's a cute bop.


Besides, I don't think anyone should be psychoanalysing another fanbase's comments to the extent that it seems slightly paranoid. After all it's not just them who seem to have the opinion, a lot of Cheryl's hardcore fans seem to be 'disappointed' with the song as well.

I read someone here saying that this strategy works in the UK because it builds some hype up before the track is released on iTunes, but I'm not quite sure.......

I know the UK has a strange release method but this is just messed up. The song will lose momentum once it's released. They were smart with the preorders but it should have gone like this.

It's supposed to help build airplay and hype, but not this way. They just burned all their opportunities for promo in one weekend. Unless she plans on some TV shows performances on July 20. But still the video should have come in June 20 or early July

Cheryl will probably perform the song as well just before the release.

Even if imo it's a little weird to release a song in the middle of the summer.

That may be true in some cases, but not for me, I have been supoorting Cheryl for well over a year on here, longer elsewhere, but honestly the song is rather weak and the performance couldn't save it.

"Pretending to like her music and to know her previous work..." sis, I was crazy about Cheryl for like 2-3 years, she was my fave alongside JLo and Nic, but then SHE actually disappointed me with her behaviour and some silly statements... then I just kept it "professional" with listening to her music only, not being a fan of hers.
Got FFTL, Promise this, Ghetto baby, Call my name, Under the sun & The flood on my phone, those are the songs I really love, but this one is a huge stepback and face it - the GP sees this as a huge step back, not only "certain stan base". I get it, you love it, it's your opinion, but you gotta know that there are people who expected more from her. Me, for example.

I love the song, but the thing that makes me sad is the fact that I don't see any improvement/growth in this comeback. It's predictable imo!

I know, I'm not keen on this song either. I would like to move on already for the next single and album.
