There should actually be no issue between Muslims and Christians because after all the central figure in Christianity is also recognized in Islam. And I've never heard of wars between Muslims and Christians in a long time. The polar opposites and archenemies are Muslims and Jews. They should be ones reconciled more than the Muslims and Christians. They are the ones who are always in conflict with each other.
