I don't know why but the format that you would think would play Lana's music (Alternative, and I guess Triple A?) has stigmatized her since some people called her unauthentic and all the criticism she got after that SNL performance (which I really liked). They don't play Lana because of her image rather than her music (same with Phillip Phillips, who made alternative sounding music but didn't get much airplay because his music was associated with American Idol).

It doesn't suit pop, alternative, urban, or any other format.

She's never been a big radio artist and this is her least radio friendly single yet
