This is what happens when you've been sensitized to pop music; when an album comes out that is based on the lyrics instead of the production swallowing the words, we call it boring, a disappointment, and whatnot. Maybe when we learn to appreciate the art form of songwriting for what it's worth, we won't need the production to swallow the singer in electronic veils and be appreciative of their mind and voice…
Or maybe the music is just uninteresting. That could be it as well.
I'm not disappointed because it's just as incredibly boring and uninspired as I thought it would be
Actually, it exceeded my expectations, it's even worse than I expected
You can't be calling it "boring" while stanning for 'BEYONCÉ'
And btw, when I first listened to West Coast I would have never imagined that it would have that smashing finals with electronics, so a 30 second snippet is not enough to judge
