However, during the World Cup you're performing as part of a harmony. Not like the SB.

WC....name one artist that benefited from the super bowl? The only thing that helps is if you're doing a concert a few weeks after.

WC, especially if you have a theme smash in ur hands, will benefit the artist. Just look at Shakira.

World Cup. I don't know anyone that watches the other one.

Even though the world cup is the bigger event, no one truly cares about the musical performances. On the other hand no one outside the US watch american football so it's a tough call.

It's Super Bowl because the half-time show has became a sensation now and people do actually care about the artist and their performance quality. On the other hand World Cup is really just about soccer and people often give zero fvcks about who performed a song or which artist made an appearance.

People may not be watching American Footbal but the Half-Time Show becomes the #1 news pretty much all around the world. Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Madonna...etc. was all over the news around Asia, Europe, South Africa, Southern America and Oceania.

I've always seen more hype for the SB, I don't get why though, can someone please explain it to me
