For example, in Phoenix AZ we have the Sugar Bowl (an ice cream shop), La Grande Orange (Pizzeria and bakery), and Sam Fox restaurants.

EDIT: OH YEA we also have ABC's Baking Company which was on that chef show as the only place he walked out of. It's owned by the INSANE lady and her hubby.

The original Carlo's Bakery (Cake Boss) is not too far from my house (not the new flop times square one)
It's good, but WAY overpriced. There's better bakeries on the same street.

Other than that, NJ is the King of 24hr Diners. They're EVERWHERE

It's quite popular for groups of 10+ because of its vast spaciousness.

Skyline Cincinnati favorite! Also LaRosa's Pizza and Graeter's Ice Cream

But my absolute FAVORITE restaurant in the world is The Witchery in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Ming General Japanese Sushi is iconic here
