When I visited the mid-west ppl would walk fast to avoid me or stores would have their "we got a ****** y'all" code and have ppl watch me.
When I was dating my partner before we moved in together, he lived in the ghetto. For the longest time, the cops would come up to me to search me for drugs being one of the few white people in the area they assumed at night I was there trying to score drugs. Because obviously that was what I was there to do.
