@when people say artists shouldn't do something, because it influences children or its not very role model like. Artists don't get in the game to be role models. If what they do is influencing to little kids, then that's there parents job to stop them. They shouldn't be held responsible for it.

Yeah, she was a bad example. I used her because she's someone who I know has taken her clothes off before but in a way I had no problems with. I don't pay attention to many other popstars, so I couldn't think of anyone else who had done that off the top of my head.


I guess I might revise what I have to say on the subject to this: If you need to resort to the sexual stuff/nudity in order to sell your music because you don't have the talent to make good enough music to sell in the first place, there's a problem. But if you make good music to begin with and you happen to be sexual/naked here and there to accentuate/express yourself within your music, it's much more ok.

I don't think it's wrong to embrace your sexuality. I mean if you got it, flaunt it. There's a reason why the **** industry is one nf the most profitable industries in the world. It's human nature, so for it to be taboo is just plain redundant, considering the fact that we're all here because of sex. I feel as though the only one's offended are those who are insecure with themselves and their bodies, that or they have some religious bias that considers casual sex to be some sort of dark, immoral sin that is punishable. So if you're not a part of either of those two categories, IDK what you're trying to tell yourself. Any music is avoidable, but that's just it, even if you are against the sex people sell in music, you're going to see the overwhelming amount of hate in the comments section on youtube, giving hyper-sexual videos all the more streams to make it popular. So it's not like the haters are preventing this stuff from coming out.

Because men don't try to use sex the same way in the entertainment industry, because they're not pressured to do so by our patriarchal society.

If men were being as overtly sexual as women in the entertainment industry, then ideas of appropriate/inappropriate ways to be doing that would indeed arise.

But my grandparents are always laughing at how sexually orientated the entertainment industry has become, and how it's teaching children that being overtly sexual is okay and it's basically saying things like prostitution is okay
