Gurl what?!? Dreamgirls was NEVER about Beyoncé (her character isn't the main focus) you clearly miss the plot of the movie. Beyoncé, along with jamie foxx and Eddie Murphy were billed as the stars of the movie because they were already established superstars with fanbases. While Jennifer Hudson(an american idol castaway) had never been in a movie before (Dreamgirls was her first movie role), plus on top that she hadn't released an album, and still very much unknown to the general public. So of coz the executive producers aren't to sell the movie with her name. The Effie White role was always an award winning role (right from Broadway). Any true Beyoncé stan knows this. Jennifer hudson might have won the awards, but Beyoncé, Jamie foxx& Eddie Murphy sold those movie tickets

I don't know how many people on here remember, or were alive but back in '01/02/03, every teenage girl thought Xtina was the hottest thing around, in terms of her style. She was one of the pop girls who helped make low-rise jeans/pants a thing, along with a more provocative style/appearance. (I mean this in a good way, no shade intended).

I believe she's' sold in the 95 million range, not 105

Don't be bothered by Britney's superiority when it comes to album sales. The Queen remains the best selling artist of her generation. And thanks for clearing that up...even withy inflated sales, Xtina has NOT sold anywhere near 50 million albums, as I stated and you basically just confirmed

With that said, I stated that Beyoncé had a much bigger impact had Xtina. I never actually claimed she sold more than her in the 2000s. That's why I voted for Beyoncé. Xtina's decline from early 2000s to just the mid 2000s was huge. BTB is was a moderate success at best. Beyoncé kept getting bigger (her impact), while her sales remained steady

She fell of after 2006 beyonce propelled from TWOTW straight through IASF with back to back #1 multi- platinum albums including DC (since you want to include Xtina's debut album) Xtina was forgotten after Stripped beyonce is the female artist of the Decade in the 00's and that is not only subjected to billboard no credible list has placed Xtina over Beyonce in the 00's she has always played second fiddle to Britney so save the BS.

Are people trying to insinuate that Beyonce only became bigger than Xtina when "Bionic" dropped....? If so, then they really need to check their delusions.
