Jay Z and Kanye West will both release new singles this month and albums this year- label sources have told MTV.
Jay will release his new track
Swagger Like Us for download from THIS Saturday
(September 6).
It is produced by Kanye- who also contributes a verse with Lil Wayne and T.I. The chorus (and title) is a sample from UK artist M.I.A’s track Paper Planes.
Meanwhile West himself will release a new single (for download) called Love
Lockdown on Monday
September 8.
More extraordinarily both Jay and Kanye are set to release new albums before the end of 2008.
It’s well known Jigga has been working on a new LP- likely to be called The Blueprint 3- with another West produced track Jockin’ Jay Z already leaked to the web.
Kanye was not expected to release a new album in 2008 but the follow up to Graduation now seems likely to be with us in the near future!
