The 41st Ontario general election will be held on June 12, 2014. Who will you be voting for?
edit: Liberals are leading the polls
Quote:
TORONTO – The Ontario Liberal party has a slight lead in the polls with just days to go before the 2014 Ontario election.
An aggregation of polls done by the Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy suggests the Liberals could pick up 48 seats, the Progressive Conservatives 41 and the NDP 18.
That would mean results almost identical to 2011’s, with a minority Liberal government and no party losing or gaining more than five seats.
EDIT: Congrats to Kathleen Wynne and the Ontario Liberals on their return to power with majority government!
Quote:
Liberal Leader Kathleen Wynne has steered her party to a majority and a commanding electoral victory, based largely on major gains in the Toronto area, while PC Leader Tim Hudak declared he is resigning.
With all ridings reporting, Liberals were elected or leading in 58 constituencies to 27 for the Progressive Conservatives and 22 for the NDP.
I will be very upset if Liberals or PC win again as -
PC - Firing over 1000 Government Jobs
Liberal - Legalizing Marijuana (means it will go up in price A LOT)
Green Party - Really does nothing and could put country into debt after all trying to save the grass or whatever
Quebec Cois - Wants to make French the lead language for Canada (I'd cry) or they would leave Canada and become their own country (Which I wouldn't mind tbh)
