The Wii U

Currently, the Wii U has shipped 6.17M consoles as of April 2014. It has numerous Exclusives under it's belt but the third party support is almost non-existent. All of the third party games are from the last gen. Current gen exclusives (games only for XO, PS4 & PC) aren't being ported to the Wii U.

But yet, Nintendo has shown their franchises are immense with console sales increasing on the week of Mario Kart 8.

The Xbox One.

Currently at 5 million shipped as of April 2014, the X-Box One had a fairly strong start. Although it's exclusive games are at a low count, they managed to sell 3 million consoles before the end of the year. But now the Xbox One is only getting half the amount of games that the PS4 is getting, and it's looking like developers are more focusing on the PS4, rather than scaling down games for the Xbox One.

The PS4.

Currently at 7 million sold as of April 2014, and is currently the console with the biggest amount of games, which will have 130 + the amount already released in its first year.

Originally posted by Shepard You have to keep in mind the PS4 and Xbone are still relatively new and you can't really make accurate judgement based on their performance as of yet, remember how badly the PS3 was flopping earlier in it's era and they managed to fix the mistakes they made and turn their gen around completely. Of course the PS4 definitely got off to a better start but Xbone was facing a lot of bad word of mouth going into it's release, and I think they are trying to repair the damage that was done. Wii U however.. still pretty irrelevant, not gonna be as strong of a force as the Wii was. Some people don't even know it's actually it's own console and think it's simply an accessory for the Wii lol. I haven't gotten any of these consoles yet. Coming from a loyal X360 user, I'm planning on getting the PS4. I think the Xbone's biggest mistake was the higher price point. That's the main reason I'm going to the PS4, honestly.
