If Leona Lewis didn't turn down: We Found Love, Burn, & Halo... would those singles, by her, be successful?
Where would they peak (U.S and U.K charts), what would the certifications be like, etc

I hear alot of the times "how could she pass this song", "oh this would have given her a HIT". Even I said the same thing. Like when "Burn" came out, people couldn't believe she passed it after passing WFL, and Halo. But after her version leaked, I was not shocked it went to Ellie. I feel like all those songs she passed, would have not been successful if she released them.
Another example:
During the Echo era, "Can't Fight It" demo by Ne-Yo was released. People couldn't believe she passed it up. This song was amazing and I never understood why she didn't keep it.
Her version leaked.
...This song wouldn't have been good if she had it.
I'm a stan of Leona Lewis, but with people saying "how could she dismiss all these songs that are now a hit" (including "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger"), I feel like none of them would have sounded 'a hit' if she released it.
Halo would not have been a hit in her hands, but IMO Burn and WFL would be hits no matter who sang them. maybe not AS big hits as they were, but still hits.
Anyone saying Halo would have been a hit with Leona is lying. Like...no. WFL and Burn would have been hit with her though. WFL wouldn't be as big, but Burn would have been just as big as it is.

I think Leona could have made Halo a hit - it's a ballad which Leona Lewis owns in her league.
They would have been successful but only in the UK. They would have been so local.
The interesting thing about Leona is how mad pressedt she always sounds that she gave them away and how they "could have been hers." Don't give them away then?
