Three years after Indiana University student Lauren Spierer disappeared, Bloomington police said they remain hopeful that someone who knows something about how she vanished will come forward.
Lauren Spierer has been missing since Friday morning, June 3, 2011, and was last seen on 11th St. and College Ave. in Bloomington, IN at 4:15am. The Indiana University college student is from Edgemont, NY. The family is seeking information through the website www.iuhillel.org website.
Lauren Spierer, who is 20, and Corey Rossman, a friend she met during Memorial Weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, walked into Kilroy's Sports Bar at 1:46 a.m. and stayed until 2:27 a.m. Along with her cell phone, Spierer left her shoes at Kilroy's, presumably because she took them off in the beach-themed bar's sand-filled courtyard.
I hope they eventually find her, even if she's deceased. This was apparently one of the bigger cases that has occurred this decade, but I was too busy enjoying my summer back then to have seen any news coverage on it at the time. But I feel like I've heard her case before tbh. Anyways, I hope Lauren's family gets answers.
This is awful, I can't even imagine the amount of pain that her friends and family are going through. Scenarios like this are worst because you have no concrete news about what happened. I hope they do find her, or what is left of her
Hope they find her. We have a family friend that has been missing since February and still hasn't been found. The cops only found her car and belongings but no signs of her.
