The conference exceeded my expectations tbh. I was expecting very little and I can't wait till August for new phones!

My thoughts as well. This was their least exciting Keynote ever. Nothing much has changed.

The keyboard thing is so tacky. I'm not here for that android nonsense.

Of course not. Maybe to the average consumer it was, but that's your own fault for expecting a ton of new exciting things at a developer's conference. I've seen overwhelmingly positive feedback from developers. Between Swift, Metal, and the endless other introductions, I think they did an excellent job.

If we get this kind of slayage on the consumer side this fall...

The more options the better. You can use stock. No one is letting you switch to Swiftkey. Swiftkey is pretty awesome to be quite honest.

No, I mean i wasn't expecting anything huge to begin with. However, they have some really cool features with IOS 8 and the Yosemite that I'm excited for.

the hotspot improvements, calls & texts on Yosemite, continuity, iCloud Drive, extensions.. pretty amazing

love the changes to mail too

they've really made great changes to bits of the phone that people use most, instead of going for cheap impact with novelty features that no one will ever use

Exactly my sentiments. This was a great keynote that introduced some awesome new tweaks and additions to the OS. I can never been underwhelmed when they're always adding and implementing new features to it.

I enjoyed the keynote. iOS 8 and Yosemite look awesome.

no! I really like it. I like the new group messages because i've gotten 1000+ notifications overnight from an annoying group chat. Also the new update for Mac. When I'm home, my phone is nearly useless now

features that sound great but people don't use actively day-to-day.. 3D maps.. Siri...

they've made major improvements to the things people already use, and have made their devices work even better together
