Also, I've only received one top four for Outkast? And this is Thursday?!?! And they're the biggest rap duo ever?

Rihanna, performing Breakin' Dishes
This song is very catchy, the classic type of song by Rihanna, and i love it. If this would've been a single i would've liked her even more.
Radiohead, performing House of Cards
BOW to one of the biggest rock bands in history, i personally think they were always innovators, and even though they're not as big as they were they still make good music, and this song is a perfect example.
My Chemical Romance, performing Welcome to the Black Parade
I like this song, i don't love it but it was a nice comeback single.
Bjork, performing Declare Independence
Bjork is without a doubt the biggest innovator ever! Her sounds are always so different from everything else, and i can't help to love her. This song as an example, shows how she could've sounded making hardcore rock lol.
Usher, performing Caught Up
I have a love/hate relationship with Usher's music. This song is on the love side though. I like it, catchy, classy with an R&B touch, and the video was amazing BTW.
Alicia Keys, performing No One
Her talent is undeniable. This song is a great example of how good she is and this song is one of those you hear one time and realize it's gonna appeal all audiences and it's gonna be big.
Destiny's Child, performing Through with Love
My fave girl band ever, what can i say, this is one of the greatest unreleased tracks by Destiny's Child and it should've been a single. Their vocals on the song are great.
Arcade Fire, performing Keep the Car Running
They have a nice old sound. But to be honest the song doesn't do anything but to sound like an old classic from the 80's. And since it's from the 00's i say Average.
Snow Patrol, performing Spitting Games
Wow! i love this song . The sound is so refreshing, like danceable, soft rock, good mood type.
System of a Down, performing Chop Suey
This is a classic one, even if you hated rock this song is gonna get you. i love it.
Death Cab for Cutie, performing Your Heart is an Empty Room
An ok song, nothing special about it

My review:
Breakin' Dishes: Ok, by the time when GGGB was released, I love it and I was hoping to see this released as 2nd or 3rd single.... By now, I really overplayed, it's good but it's another Rihanna song that you played a lot of times and then you don't want to hear it again, sorry but it is... Really good, good sound, good beat
House Of Cards: I like some of Radiohead, this starts very good, almost great but it's gettig tedious with moanings a the point to be almost boring at the end... Anyway, nice song
Welcome to the Black Parade: Very good song, one of my favs, but I have to say that is not a comeback single at level of Helena or The Ghost Of You... but still great
Declare Independence: This song it's really crazy & addictive, I love message in the song.... Love it
Caught Up: One of a few songs I can stand from him really... Simply I¿m just not like him.... Nice
No One: A big question I have to do is WHY THIS? Really, it got me annoyed for a while... Ok talking about the song... It's really great though some her vocals are so scraped... Though it was one of my loved songs of last year... Now it's really annoying...
Through With Love: Great track though the chorus make it so repetitive... They have better single/songs
Keep The Car Running: The sounds is so great, but the vocals make this song a bit boring
Splitting Games: Oh, please how do you dare to say that it's mediocrity.... It's far better than the half of the song here... Great song, the end it's amazing, though it wasn't my Top 4 choice... I don't mind, it's really good song....
Chop Suey: Hehe, this really get me, I really like it... The sound is really stupend, yeah the lyrics are a bit emo, but still one of my favorites
Your Heart Is An Empty Room: I really find boring, the song is so soft but it get's at level to be boring... Sorry

Rihanna - Breakin' Dishes
I don't know who you think I am! I don't know ... who you think I am-am-am! Man, that opening is classic. And this:
Quote:
I'm roasting marshmallows on the fire! And what burnin' ... is ya attiyah!

Well, no words need to be said about that bon mot. What sells this track, though, beyond the amazing bits and pieces, is Rihanna's vocal. Let it never be said that Rihanna has a great voice; it's technically flat in all the wrong places. But on songs like this, Umbrella, Disturbia and Sell Me Candy, it really, really works. She somehow sounds more connected than most pop tarts of her generation. In any other week, this would get at least nine points from me, but this is an unusually strong week, and I have to be as fair as possible. And those background voices? They steer a little too closely from so bad it's good ville to unremittingly awful town. Still, a very good outing from the biggest pop star in the world. (Well, ignoring record sales!)
Radiohead - House of Cards
I don't want to be your friend, I just want to be your lover. No matter how it ends, no matter how it starts ****, y'all. Radiohead is here to play! Thom Yorke's voice ... it's like an angel. And every word is so deeply felt, I don't know how anyone could not lose themselves in it. And the boys behind him are more than living up to their share of the bargain. From that opening guitar strum, to the constant peddling, the really wonderful instrumentation going on in the background ... everything about this song works. Thanks TC!
My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade
A quite charming Queen impersonation. Which is not a bad thing; in fact, it's a compliment! But in a week like this, with two songs that are better than it already in play, I can't rank it very highly. But hot damn, is it catchy! Although the chorus is the weakest part of the song?
Bjork - Declare Independence
Hands down, the best track on Volta. Only Bjork could make a peaceful entreaty for the people of Tibet into a robo-punk masterpiece. RAISE YOUR FLAG (HIGHER HIGHER!) And it crescendos too!
Usher - Caught Up
I voted for this. I think it's a very limber modern RnB song, with one of Usher's strongest vocal performances of the decade. Something about it makes me happy? But, again, in a week like this >_<
Alicia Keys - No One
Now, I did not vote for this song, and listening to it reminds me why! I run very hot/cold with it - some days, I can really appreciate it's simple charms, other days, I really hate it. Guess which day this is! Everything about it is so cheap, and really almost crass - it's like Alicia on autopilot. Chintzy Casio sounding keyboards, lame lyrics (and for Alicia, that's like really hard to specify, since most of her lyrics are lame), and those horrible strained vocals! But damn if it's not catchy. UGH
Destiny's Child -Through With Love
LMAO. I just realized, they can't say WITH? It's WITH, not WIT. This song is so 2004! **** I LOVE THIS SONG.
Arcade Fire - Keep the Car Running
As you crazy kids say, BOW. **** WHICH SONG WILL I GIVE ELEVEN POINT TO THIS WEEK? This is a classic in the making, folks. I love how it sounds like a Springsteen song, but also is better than most of the stuff he's done? :shockhorrorohyesIwentthere:
Snow Patrol - Spitting Games
I actually really like this? As much as I can like a song by Snow Patrol. Like Mikal said, it harks back to the days of Brit-Pop, when much better bands were stalking around. Hmmm.... I really don't like Gary Lightbody's voice. It's so flat, but with that damn accent so it's doubly bad? Sorry guys.
System of a Down - Chop Suey
AKA, the only System of a Down song I know. And in a week of songs that I mostly love, this sadly has no chance. But I really like it?
Death Cab for Cutie - Your Heart is an Empty Room
But I love this. Some songs mean so much to you that it's hard to talk about - or write about. This is one of those songs for me - I feel that Ben Gibbons is singing my life story, and there's nothing I can do to stop him. Without all the icky women references!

I will be half-assing the reviews this week, but I won't next week, 'natch.
Breakin' Dishes - Ugh. More than anything, the lyrics annoyed me. The song itself isn't THAT bad, but I just can't over the lyrics.
House of Cards - All RIGHT! This is ****ing glorious, amazing stuff. Thom's vocals are so beautiful. It's almost as if he's on a different planet, vocally. This is in the upper half of their songs, which is a pretty great accomplishment, considering how many great songs they have.
Welcome to the Black Parade - Other than "Dead!", my favorite song from The Black Parade, which shocks me, because it certainly wasn't this way before, but time and perspective have helped my love for this song grow. As Bart pointed out, sometimes, it is nothing more than a Queen impersonation, but it's a good one, though. This song will, likely, be the closest this band comes to critical acceptance. Gotta give them props for that.
Declare Independence - This song is just ******* crazy. That's a compliment. And what's most impressive is that it has a MESSAGE, instead of being crazy for the hell of it, which wouldn't have been a problem, but it just makes the song more memorable.
Caught Up - And from that...to this. Now, I will readily admit that this is one of the better Usher songs from this decade. But, uh, it's Usher, and I can't say that I'm a big fan of his post-2000. But this isn't that bad, though.
No One - Overplayed to freaking hell. And, this time, it's a bad thing, because I grew to hate the chorus more and more, until I decided to ignore the song completely because of it. Of course, then, some people sang it at the DNC, which prompted me to throw a pillow. Ugh.
Through With Love - I might like this song more if they actually said WITH right. "Wit"? God, I ****ing hated that "get rid of the h" fad. JUST SAY THE DAMN WORD IN FULL. Not terrible, but the "wit" problem annoys me to no end.
Keep the Car Running - Wouldn't it be just awesome if the top three was "No Cars Go", "Wake Up", and "Intervention"? Sweet. Anyway, the actual song at hand. I don't really buy that it's THAT much like Springsteen, but it does have a Springsteen charm, and it's one of those songs that sounds good in any situation, good or bad.
Spitting Games - Well, considering that I don't expect Snow Patrol to make it past this round(though it wouldn't shock me, really), I'll just use this time to point out that I voted for "Signal Fire" as my #1 Snow Patrol song. Yes, "Signal Fire". You may now consider my taste null and void.
Anyway, this is the SP song that makes me feel the most nostalgic about my life. I first learned about this song through a video game, and I started listening to it more and more after that, and I got hooked rather effortlessly. A run of fandom started that lasted for a couple of years, and just stopped a year ago. Maybe it'll pick up, who knows? But my love for this song still remains.
Chop Suey! - If I wasn't aware of how this game works, I would have been annoyed that this song won out. Thank god I was made aware. Honestly, I get why this song is so beloved to most people. I mean, it's their breakthrough single, the one that most people heard first. It annoys me, though, because it's one of their lesser singles. I also think it's the worst single from Toxicity. Does that mean I don't like the song? Of course not. There are very few SoaD songs that I don't like. I just don't think it's THAT great.
Your Heart is an Empty Room - I was both anticipating and dreading this. Anticipating, because they do have a few REALLY good songs. Dreading, because they have a few REALLY bad songs. Luckily, this is much more in the former category. A very beautiful song. It doesn't surprise me that people find this song "boring", because some of their music IS kind of boring, but I find so many things to love about this songs. I mean, the lyrics, Ben's vocals, the understated instruments, playing a back seat to Ben's tour de force...it's not the best song of the week, but it is one of the better songs, definitely.

Rihanna - I thought this song was better, based on the comments from the people, it's just OK.
Radiohead - Not my favorite from them, but it's good.
My Chemical Romance - The best song so far.
Björk - Have you watched this video? It's awesome. The song? It's great too.
Usher - One of the best dance tracks, back to 2005. Great choice.
Alicia Keys - I have a love/hate relationship with this song. It's so overratad but I like it.
Destiny's Child - Average song from them, it's ok.
Arcade Fire - I'm not really into their music, but i'm surprised, it's great.
Snow Patrol - This is one of my choices, of course I love it!.
System Of A Down - You don't have idea how much I hated this song at first, but this is one of the best songs of this decade, hands down.
Death Cab For Cutie - This song is relaxing, they don't disapoint.
