I can agree with this. When I first heard artpop I thought "this is the end of heavily EDM influenced pop albums." Cause where do you possibly go from there? You can't add anything past the kitchen sink

Yes. And I personally liked that, it's unapologetic about what it is. It's a mess, but a mess that works (for me personally). I think it's her first album that really establishes her brand as an artist and an entertainer.

Yeah it's a terrible album, and it will do Gaga good in the long run. She got too big for her boots. Too pretentious and if she continues with that she'll be gone for good next album. Question is...will she learn? Will she learn humility? Will she be genuine? Will she stop playing the victim? That's what people want.

I don't think that it's really bad album, it has few lower lows that her previous work, but I think it matched the higher highs of her previous work. The lyrics are smart, the melody is catchy and the vocals are great too.

No. The thing is she overhyped it + she should have performed less ARTPOP songs on Swinefest(tho I loved it) + the era was a mess , but she didn't deserve those horrible mpnths

I blame Applause. DWUW would be a #1 smash hit signature single as lead single, and I really think Venus too (although is a lot riskier than DWUW).

With the Singles Battle victory, the álbum would sold a lot more.
