I like this - it's fun, summery and personally, it's the first time Cheryl doesn't sound dull. Now I actually have some expectations for this album.

This, exactly. It's a strange first single choice but maybe because it's so strange, it's actually brilliant? This reminds me of Girl in the Mirror or Mechanics of the Heart. Songs I certainly enjoy, but not songs I listen to and immediately think: SINGLE! That being said, the more I listen to it the more I'm connecting.

It took a while for it to click with me too, but I'm loving it. It's a mature sound for her. I think we were all expecting some heavy dance-pop club banger and felt let down when it wasn't. This was a smart single choice. It gets her name out there, played on radio leading into X Factor and leave people hungry for more around the time for her second single to drop. I'm here for this.
