Not gonna like, when I first heard the song I was like "is this some kind of Girls Aloud reject?" but now I'm obsessed with it! It's a really infectious song.
Btw, it looks like the song will be available in some countries tomorrow. Universal Spain just tweeted the song will be available tomorrow.
I can't get over how lifeless those horns are. CMN wasn't instant and didn't click with me until the music video so hopefully it will grow on me or the performance will help.
Was genuinely excited, as her first singles usually slay.
This, though, is horrible.
Like posters above said, it's flat like a piece of paper. Basic production, basic lyrics, basic horns, it's basically basic. The song doesn't seem to know what it wants to be either - a Girls Aloud b-side or a hip-attempt at following the "Talk Dirty" trend. And even then it fails miserably at both.
Tinie seems like a slap-dash attempt at garnering street cred on a song that is as cheesy Pop as cheesy Pop comes.
Inevitably, she'll deliver a GREAT performance, get spun on radio, and score a number one, which will make everything I just typed pointless come July. That said, the hype machine can only sustain for so long. She'll have to BRING IT on her next single.
