I don't think it's a remake but something else. If this is true this is their way of removing themselves from the mess of 5 and 6.

Capcom is a total mess, but I'm really hoping they don't bungle this next RE.

I remember watching the Let's Plays for RE6 because I was curious about the whole multiple scenarios business, but lord it was like watching a really bad action movie. So sad.

Um, that's Chris and Pierce. I literally meant Chris's whole story and Jake's whole story. Given, I was playing that bitch Sherry the entire time, it still didn't stop me and my cousin from agreeing that Jake's story mode tanked…

Jake was an unnecessary addition that no one asked for. People wanted Claire over him.
He did nothing for the story at large despite him being written as such.
