Well let me put it that was, it was originated in the gay community, originally played in gay clubs etc.
And wut? Just like everything else music can have a stigma and so house music could be seen as "gay" music and have that certain stigma to it.
EDM is an unbrella term ( not a genre) with lots of genres under it. While the many or the majority of those genres might appeal to "straight" people not every EDM genre appeals to them.
Also i've never seen people saying EDM is gay, atleast the term as a whole.
Which EDM subgenre do you think appeals to gays? Just wondering.
Don't assume anything. You don't know **** and I put the demo up in full last week, if you didn't listen to it, your fault.
Saucy...

You have a very unfortunate and archaic viewpoint that may well reflect where you come from, but isn't representative of the world or even dance music culture.
Majority of EDM fans in all it's forms are straight males. Female popstars doing dance music will of course have larger female and gay male audiences but the DJ scene and male dance producers have mostly straight male fans. I will pull some receipts for you when I'm on a computer.
I also suggest you come to the UK or Europe sometime. Even the most urban clubs here, where most songs are hip-hop and crowds are black, play the biggest dance-pop and house singles.
As a straight male myself that goes urban clubs, I always hear We Found Love, Starships, Only Girl, La La La, Scream and Shout, Disclosure, etc. mixed with stuff like N- in Paris, Gas Pedal and The Motto and all the popular and new hip-hop stuff.
Agreed. i actually hope she takes Oscar's advice and get a weave so she can be more versatile with the hairstyles and won't therefore damage her real hair.
