Only MK could create literal palette swaps of characters and have them each be as unique and iconic as they are now.
Also its narrative >>>> every other fighter. Doesn't say much given the genre but still.

I think it's right up there with the Nintendo behemoths Pokemon/Mario. Being that Midway was such a small company compared to it's massive franchise, I think it's even more impressive.
