First, that comment was more of a general statement than something directed towards you honestly and I should have clarified that. Apologies.
But it's a very valid question and one I don't think I can answer? Or rather, it's difficult to answer because I'm not in the shoes of a "privileged" (~new black~) straight man and the concept of feminism is natural to me, being a victim of the patriarchy as well. Of course education is the best option, but in retrospect, I suppose it can get a bit muddled when there are two sides of the same argument. I mean, we see it on ATRL any time there's a debate on race or use of the word t***** or the n-word.
