I will say that whatever "place" she was in when she wrote it needs to be revisited.

Nobody would praise that verse if it was on a Waka song. A substantial portion of the praise from Monster comes from the fact that she had a better verse than Jay and Kanye.

I like IBOD more than Dope Dealer.

She was pushed up against the wall by the Hip Hop critics & felt she had a score to settle, so she snapped.
I feel like she was in that same place months ago, but it seems the album has taken another direction, so we might not get that verse where she blacks out again.

The 2nd verse on Roman's Revenge is up there with Monster IMO...

I doubted it for some time, but it really is one of her best.

Yes this was a factor, but also because everyone saw her as some bubble gum rapper who sometimes did crazy voices. They gained respect for her with that verse due to her lyricism & delivery outshining Kanye & Jay (who at the time were looked at as among the best).

The 4th album needs to be full of urban bops.
