People that cling so hard to the supposed difference between -a and -er are the worst.
It's like saying there's a difference between "the" and "da", "her" and "ha", "what's up" and "wassup".
It's literally just the way you learn to pronounce the word. The meaning is still there regardless. I could use it as a greeting, and then turn around and go on a racist rant, and the word would still sound the same.
