"World Cup Song Disappoints World Cup Fans on Web

The official World Cup song is hitting an off note with some soccer fans.

Critics on the Web say the single "We Are One (Ole Ola)" doesn't showcase enough of the host country, Brazil. Instead, Cuban-American Pitbull takes center stage, along with Bronx native, Jennifer Lopez.

Colombian-born Shakira, reportedly a huge soccer fan, did contribute the upbeat anthem, "La La La (Brasil 2014)" for FIFA's official World Cup 2014 album.

Looks like she has won over the World Cup crowds before the games have even begun."

Soccer Chanteuse Shakira truly deserved to have the official World Cup song again. People like her a lot and she dominated the world (other than the US because Americans have never liked soccer that much) with Waka Waka so this is natural. Pitbull and J. Lo have done way too many songs together, and no one knows Claudia Leite. At least Michel Teló and Gustavo Lima e você are known outside Brazil...

Nope. Shakira wrote "La La La" and all its versions/translations. Sia did write the Shakira fan favorite "Chasing Shadows", though.
