Where did this peak on thte Hot 100 this week?

My local stations play this hourly. The video needs to be released June 10.

She will be on GMA next week.

I see it being a moderate hit with promotion and a good video. But yes I do think everyone was expecting a summer banger from her.

I wanted something on the lines of ChiRaq\YB\BAB but I figured she would take this route with the first single since she was giving us those type of songs as "buzz singles".

With all the praise ChiRaq has got and is still getting, that could have been the first single, in my perfect world. Then she could have followed-up with something like Pills N Potions for the 2nd single.

Imagine Chi-Raq being the lead single, where Nicki herself has less time than the featured artist

I wanted something a bit more clubby too. Summer singles that are ballads tend to get lost in the shuffle with the big summer tunes. It might take off in a big way with the video. Well see

I think if it was the lead single, she would have made sure she had the same amount of time or more BUT the important thing is that her verse was of quality and not forgettable so it ultimately doesn't matter who had more time.

Agreed. While I'm not a big fan of the song, hopefully it still does well. All in all, it's a great song for the general public to see her in a different light.

Regardless of the songs performance it'll do great things for her image coming into the album. Kinda like what Right Thru Me did for Pink Friday.
