1 it was boring and kind of tacky. Iggy looks a mess in the video but beautiful in the behind the scenes bits
BUT they should have done more with the aerial shot of her and the heels. That was actually a superb shot and whoever the creative director was or the person behind that idea, is really great.
That's a 5. The editing was a bit random, but that's to be expected. I like the idea of doing a video that looks like a 60's TV performance, but some parts were awkward and she wasn't energetic enough.
Big Sean was given too much prominence for a feature that isn't even listed as a feature. That flexible guy has nothing to with the video and takes away from everything else. There is nothing special happening in the scenes nor is a story being told; there is little to no narrative and scenes get very repetitive. Ariana is showing little to no expression, very contrasting to her performance energy. However, the colors, lighting, and composition of the shots are pretty and work for the concept Ariana is going for. Overall, the video falls short in entertainment; it doesn't work well to represent the song and Ariana as an artist. 4/10
