Hey everyone! It's David here! And I know many of you don't know who I am and probably think I'm not an avid Atrl member. I check everyday and I love everyone on here. So I was wondering if you guys could help me? I live in a super small town of 400 called Faro in the Yukon (google it, it's crazy small) and I am THE ONLY GRAD. My dad used to work for the town and was sexually harassed. Everyone turned on us and I've been really helpless. I want to make this grad memorable and show all of the narrow minded pricks here that the Khans (my last name) can fight back. So I was wondering if you guys could help me get a message to Lana Del Rey that I would love her to play at my grad? Yup! I go to the only school here. I was supposed to graduate with another girl, but the pressures of the town got to her and she moved

They tried to get me to run, but I couldn't leave my family. They spread rumours and when it's 200 against 1 or 2 people it feels like a lot. And the town CAO is corrupt and the pervert who sexually harassed him, even though there are 400 people only 30 ever really come out and they are the most vocal. They don't want things to change so they went against my dad, he was just trying to promote our town and make it better. There are barely any jobs here and most are for the town, they can control who gets work where and are corrupt people. I just want to leave here with a bang. Can you guys help? I'd greatly appreciate it

Lana wont fix your problems Rumours and neighbour hatred are common in little towns. You just have to leave, ignore it or legally fight it

It's actually in Canada, in the Yukon! Which is scary to think of because I never imagined things like this could happen, but they do. I'll post the video here when I make it. And I'm really grateful for your guys' concern so thank you

Well Lana playing would be like how other people around the world ask some celebrities to accompany them to their prom. But it will also show these people that I'll do great things with my life and even if they try to be fake nice after, I won't have it. I really hope everyone knows I'm being genuine

Yeah Lana will surely travel to some Yukon town with 400 inhabitants to sing at graduation with 1 grad. How will it show you will do great in your life ? This is not how life works, you have to make effort yourself to change something. Or you just wanna use her as promotion attraction for your city ?

Sorry for your problems, but this is so naive.

I know I'll do great in life, because I'm working with some musicians this summer to do songwriting and I work extremely hard. This is just because I love Lana so much I was wondering if you guys could help me grab her attention so she could hopefully come to my grad. Lots of other teenagers do it all over the world so I thought I would give it a shot. I am far from naive. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Nothing wrong with trying

I think you need to adopt more of an unapologetic attitude.

Have the confidence in who you are to not give a **** about the **** that they talk or how little they think you're capable of doing. Believe in yourself and work hard. Focus on your own happiness rather than pleasing the a-holes in your town, and you'll grow into a strong, independent, successful man.

By caring whether or not they they think you'll do great things in your life, you're placing all the power over you into their hands. Just don't give a **** and that will set you free.

Your town is a mess so just graduate, be happy you're done and get out.
