She can get another #1 its not that hard. She just needs to make the right music, work with different producers & writers and talk about different things. She just needs to be more relatable and tone down her image to something classy & cute.

I thought ARTPOP was meant to be commercial though? I know it ended up being received as experimental but did she herself not say it was meant to be fun and commercial?

And in more recent history, many of these same people that are saying Gaga will never get another #1 likely said the same about Kesha last year, and then look what happened with Timber. Never count anyone out people.

I think those saying she'll NEVER get a number 1 again are just being delusional, her gp image has been hit a little hard but she's by no means a failure.

I reckon the lead single from her next album could do it, if she has a good marketing/release strategy and it's genuinely a good song that the gp will like, but with that gaga twist, i.e. bad romance.

Oh Lord do not remind me of all her missed shots at #1. It seriously brings me down thinking of those missed opportunities. Bad Romance, Paparazzi, Telephone, The Edge of Glory, and perhaps even Applause all had the chance to go #1 if things played out just a bit differently. It's not entirely her fault though, things just didn't play out entirely in her favor with those songs.
