LMFAO. Why is people blaming Raven for this flopping? Didn't she sell 5k in the first week? That's the exact amount of fans she has.

Because rather her solo album sales are bad or not, the kids know Raven, they don't really know the other three. Especially by name. She co-produced the first two, and realize how the ventures without Raven haven't been so successful. This movie included. The *****d Raven out with both of them because Disney wanted them to be successful, in those cases it worked, but since they had no MAJOR Disney star to promote this movie with, it fell and it shows.

No Raven. As unimportant as she is, kids don't like to see characters missing. It's sad, cuz Raven's bitch ass screwed up a multi-million dollar line for the other girls. They're last movie and album were huge and this one is gonna be flop-tastic (Raven just leaves a trail of flopping). = /

Hey don't blame her for leaving. Just because the bitches needed her don't mean she gotta stay. She's movin on to REAL film not, the Cheetah Tricks can handle themselves. Anyways, the soundtrack also debut lower than the previous, everything about this movie is just 'lower'.

Raven is popular, believe it or not. The reason why people don't buy her records...is because her label sucks. If people aren't aware that you have an album out, how will anyone know to buy it? LOL.
Its the same with Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgins.....they all flop as solo artists, because the label refuses to promote their solo projects. However they sell millions off the soundtracks.
Don't blame the artist...blame the label.

And oh yeah, One World sucked....same ol' forumla. Same ol' plot, same ol' ending...LOL.....the plot for all three movies is to follow the Cheetah Girls, on their quest for stardom.
so you mean to tell me, THEY WENT ALL THE WAY TO INDIA, and the Cheetah Girls STILL didn't "make it big"??? so what was the point of going to India? LMFAO

I'm not completely blaming her, but she downed the Cheetah Girls to release a solo album that hasn't sold like wut 10,000 copies? The last Cheetah Girls album sold over a million copies. I understand she wants to branch and out and mature but she can't do that while releasing singles like "Double Dutch Bus." LMAO. Also, "College Road Trip" is less popular than the Cheetah Girls movie as a whole.

College Road Trip is still doing good what are you talking about? Over 50,000,000 domestic is popular ....And as she said, she didn't want 'Double Dutch Bus' released let alone letting it be on the album, but her label was cheap. Oh, her album passed 10,000 awhile ago, but the sales are Hollywood Records' fault, which is why she left.

lol, still, has it gotten to 20,000? Also, that might seem like a big number, but you should compare it to other box office hits. I'm sure the Cheetah Girls movie/album sold more than College Road Trip. The movie was just not that popular. She needs to move on to projects outside Disney if she hopes to succeed. LMAO at how untalented people like Hilary Duff and Miley Cyrus can do well with Disney's help, but talented tanks like Raven can't do anything with wut Disney gives her. = /

It'll get there soon enough you can't expect it to sell so well without promotion or even one single, but her tour is doing wonderfully so that's great. Comparing 'College Road Trip' to other box office comedy hits only shows just how well it has done, the DVD was a #1 seller for two weeks as well so you add that to the total grossing and we got even more big money. It was second only to "10,000 B.C.", and worldwide tickets were sold out well in advance for the film prompting many to extend the run by weeks. Just like Disney did in the USA, they extended and expanded it due to popular demand.

Actually, if you just take the plot of this movie and make it 10x better, it still would have been awesome... the plot SUCKED. It didnt have 2 do with raven. I mean look.... Adriene Bailon is really popular. I also think that making a TCG show on disney or even abc or something would have been a better idea then making more movies... that way people can get used 2 Raven not being in the movie.

I really feel like you are over-emphasizing little feats. Box-Office sales are usually a good indication of exactly how popular a movie is, unless in rare cases it's a sleeper like "Mean Girls." Since "College Road Trip" failed to gross anything over 60 million in the box office, combined with the fact that although DVD sales for it were high on opening (as are most DVD's on opening day), as a whole, I'm sure it's not Top 10 on the year on anything.

'Mean Girls' isn't really what you'd define as a sleeper hit. It got high publicity before it even came out since Tina Fey was connected, and then Lindsay just brought in a **** load of publicity since she was at the top of her career at the time. 'College Road Trip' is what's defined as a box office success I guess, not a box office hit since the reviews were very mediocre towards it. But since the movie made over 30,000,000 dollars in pure profit from grossing in the box office, and more with DVD's, I'd say that's a decent sized hit. Any movie studio would want that.
