THIS. It's just different strokes for different folks. I think there's a lot of people however who naturally aren't monogamous and have pressure put on them by society and family to be monogamous leading to marriage breakdowns etc. I personally would enter a poly amorous or open relationship as long as both of us were comfortable and ok with each others choices.

Also, not everyone who enters polyamourous relations sleeps around there are plenty of people in the world who can be with 2 or 3 partners their whole life not everyone is Hugh Hefner y'know (even though I like him and Playboy). Some people truly love more than one person and don't treat their partners like disposable toys.

However, you do realize that non monogamous relation isn't alwyas about having sex with other peope without the partner ? It can be about having sex with others with the partners present/joining in or dating more than one person/joint relationship.

I look at this as an option you as couple can make, if you prefer being monogomous than be monogomous, if not then don't be, don't know why this is such a big deal. I have plenty of gay friends that are in relationship and are not monogomous and they work perfectly fine and have been together for several years now.
