To answer the OP's question, we don't care if she's flops/underperforms bc she can bounce back.

Because she usually has flops inbetween two massive hits. It's not like she flops consistently.

Also, when someone like Lady Gaga flops everybody has a huge melt-down over it. Rihanna just moves onto the next single like nothing has happened. That's the way it should work.

I think her argument is that the enormity of Rihanna's success makes up for her flops and consequently she doesn't need to be forgiven for them. She's unapologetic, if you will.
