Tbh the only times this award show was relevant was when MJ made his first public appearance after being acquitted, and when Destiny's Child bowed out.
No, I think this is the first year it was ever televised. A couple years ago the ceremony got cancelled a few hours before it was supposed to start because the hosts couldn't obtain visas. These awards are a MESS.
Its been televised before. I know cus Beyonce has performed there 2 or 3 times in the past.
But congrats to everyone else
