Nope. 100 years from now will probably be much worse. This will be an over-populated, over-exploited, conflict-ridden, globally warmed rock where people will probably have to fight tooth and nail to survive and protect their loved ones.
I'd rather be born back in the mid to late 50s. That way I would've lived thru the disco era and the best part of the 80s.
100 years down track will be worse, life has gotten worse and worse, sure the Iphone and Ipad are amazing but if you think about it...before year 2001, life was good
No tbh. I wish I had the opportunity to see what its like 100 years from now but it'll probably be an environmental and social mess so I'm fine in 2014
I like the time I was born in. I get to experience the transition from pre-internet days to internet days. I think the internet is one of if not the biggest technological advancement of humanity so far.
No, but 10 years earlier for quick money grabbing in the dotcom hype would interesting for me, electronic music hitting the mainstream as the first thing they played on MTV Europe, the raves before the razzias shut it down,... driving before they are doing too much sobriety checkpoints and speed cameras.
I think about it every now & then and I always arrive to the same answer, "no".
I feel like I'm living in an incredible time right now. Also, who knows if the same people that I know now would be around. What if the love of my life didn't exist then?
I'm perfectly happy with the time that I was born in.
