I can't take these videos seriously with that soundtrack.
And mess at that showing me nothing. They completely glossed over the drive thru scene
A mess, I'll pass.
I mean, what if I have the lil car set to take me to Walmart and then on the way, I see Target and decide I wanna change lanes and take that right turn? Will I have to go through the trouble of telling the car to change my destination on the spot? Will I be able to enter my request on time? Will the thing be able to receive and process my request by the red light? Riddle me that.

Sis.
This would probably be easier to employ in the United States, cause y'all have blocks and more straight roads from what I've heard. In the UK the majority of our roads are curved and winding, so I don't think it would be as easy to do over here...
My prediction is that 20 years from now, basically everyone will have self-driving cars. They will eventually be much safer and insurance companies will raise prices until people buy them.
It's disappointing that we keep investing in cars, when we should invest in better public transportation in cities. Also, a better high speed rail to add competition to Amtrak that would be similar to Europe's rail. But no, we have to make cars with no steering wheels? A joke.
Yeah, human judgment for motor vehicles is just great. Everyone is such an amazing driver and never puts others people's lives at risk unnecessarily by getting intoxicated, texting, not paying attention, talking on the phone...
Humans also totally have faster reaction times than robots! Slay humans slay!

It's no secret people want control of their vehicle. It's a little scary to let a machine drive you.
Second of all, being from NYC, I'm surprised you're even advocating for a car. There is no reason to own one there.
