Not true. It's a societal issue were white men are favored. Like for instance a black man has a lower chance of getting a job than a white convicted criminal.

Blacks have been historically barred from prestigious higher institutions, it even used to be illegal for blacks and whites to attend the same school I mean Harvard was a school created and designed for WHITE people. Thats not to hard to understand right? Even to this day white people have a major advantage getting into these schools especially when you look at things like legacy admissions. Someone whos grandfather who went to Harvard has a higher chance of getting into the institution than another student of the same merit. As a black person, my grandfather wasn't even allowed to go to schools like Harvard so things like legacy admissions are inherently biased towards whites. Blacks literally have to claw for representation in every institution in America, especially when the legacy of Jim Crow is literally ONE generation away. Thats why affirmative action exists. Because America knows they messed up and forced blacks to the back of the pack through racist laws, and they know that they must play a role in rectifying their racism.

Yeah, in a perfect society, in which we currently do not live in you have a good idea of equality but the fact of the matter is that we don't live in an equal society and some people do have to work harder because people with higher authorities look down on them. SHOULD that be right, of course not. But the reality is that it's a thing, recognize that.
