Simple question: at what age does society percieve as adults? Some people say that it is 18, as that is when you are given the right to vote and join the military. Others say that it is right at 21 when you can finally drink and are no longer registered as a minor. But I've also noticed (in film and business) that young men and women in their early twenties are also referred to as "just a kid" or "still a boy." I also feel that with each generation, we seem to grow faster but stay younger longer - if that makes sense. What do you think?

Originally posted by Guernica I'd say 24-26 because most people have finished college and started to really become independent by that time. College age people are still viewed as kids a lot of the time.
