I'm not so much worried about it being closed as I am about the reasoning behind why it was closed. Perez Hilton is a celebrity whether we like it or not.

...and it wasn't just an observation like supaspaz said. If it was just an observation, Perez wouldn't have added "Ouch!" or "Rough" at the end.

While I agree that Perez is a celebrity, that was not a newsworthy tweet. Commenting on her weak opening sales numbers is not the same as taunting Mariah. If they get into a fight about it on Twitter, then maybe it would merit more discussion.
