Why lambs keep saying she as NO SINGLE? She HAS released singles and actually MANY. They just did bad and struggled. The very same people were calling other gurls that opened with like 100-150k FLOPS.
Because she has no single at the moment that lead into the album release.

On the bright side it'll be the year's #2 female debut after Shakira. She'll knock off Lea Michele.
I didn't even know she had an album coming out today. I saw it in the morning at Target and I was like what??? I honestly thought it was an old album or something like that. I actually thought Mahone was going to sell a little more than her, plus it has a discount. That shows what a non-factor he actually is.
Didn't she have like 4 or 5 buzz singles leading up to the release of the album tho?
#Beautiful was the lead single for the album but it was pushed back indefinitely. The Art Of Letting Go was for the fans, no radio adds and no promo. Your Mine was released way back in February and is the only one you could really consider a "buzz single." So to answer your question, no.
I expected way less, I believe i said this a long time ago, Mariah is going for longevity.
1. No real promo until after the album is out
2. No Single
3. Itunes first listen (she knew someone would rip it)
4. Her barely talking about the album
5. Her saying something like"i remember going to record stores and buying the record just because of someones name'
This is the most obvious outcome in like history.
I actually bought his album over Mariah's.
