I work with cellphones and if you're not looking for a contract then go with either Straight Talk or Family Mobile. You have to buy your own iPhone outright so it'll be pricey but you can use prepaid service with any phone that takes a SIM card.

Boost and Virgin use Sprint towers which has the worst coverage of all the carriers. They have decent plans but you're gonna have trouble getting reception.
