Alright so I have been waiting for Jordan Pruitts new album "Permission To Fly" to be released everywhere for a while now. For those who don't know, the album was released to Limited Too stores on July 22nd and will be given a digital release on September 9th. August 26th (this tuesday) is the day it is supposed to be released everywhere. Well, guess what? Apparently, now August 26th is the day it will be available on Amazon.com. WTF!!!

Why don't they just release the ****in' album? Limited Too doesn't have soundscan, and I don't think Amazon.com does either, so how will it appear on the billboard charts? It won't. Seems this is another artist that HR doesn't care about

I hate Hollywood Records with a burning passion. Jordin Pruitt is a very sweet girl with a lot of talent. I hate seeing her get treated this way.

Jordin will end up leaving as well.

I have front row tickets to her concert in September and I wanted her album by then. I didn't bother buying from Limited Too cause it's super expensive. So when is it getting a physical release?

Yep. If she has any sense at all she'll get out of her contract with Hollywood Records. I could understand the treatment they give her if she was a total unknown, but she does seem to have a bit of a small following and her music actually sounds pretty relevant (compared to a lot of other Hollywood artists). So why do they screw her over with horrible music videos and this album release date debacle? She definitely has the potential to do bigger and better things, just not under the guidance of Hollywood Records.

Her song "Boyfriend" is fire!

'Permission To Fly' is a pretty good album 2. She has such an amazing voice, I don't know why she decieded to sign with HR.
Hollywood Records just doesn't know how to promote her since she's one of the only acts on that label that doesn't have a successful disney channel show or movie.

She probably has a three album contract, but if she's smart, she'll do what Raven did and re-negotiate that trick so she can leave after her next album. Or she can do what Hilary is doing.

The thing with her is that they offered her a role on a TV show & a pilot but she declined. The poor girl is not interested in acting. She wants to make music & should be pushed if only just because that's her main priority.

Sucks that they're screwing her over so terribly.

She shoulda took that role.
