Right after Team was released on Sept 13th, I fell in love with the song, and since there was no Lyrics video on Youtube I decided to make one! My first ever lyrics video !
I edited the video in Windows Movie Maker for about 20 mins, but there was something wrong with Youtube so I wasn't able to upload it that day. I uploaded it tomorrow on Sept 14th. Than I realised someone uploaded Team lyrics video on the 13th That video has over 9M views now
Anyway, I thought Welp no one is going to watch my video now. I forgot about it and after a few months decided to check it out, it had over 1M views since than I've been checking it out once a week. It has passed 3M views 2 weeks ago, but since I was banned I wasn't able to post it back than.

It happened to me with a Michael Bublé song too, it didn't have a video on Youtube so I posted one and now it's the main video for that song according to the search results
Are you monetizing the video, if not then those views are useless
I don't know how to do it. Besides I've always thought there is no way to earn money from it, considering it's not my song.
EDIT : This is what Youtube says :
You must meet these minimum requirements in order to monetize your videos:
- Your content is advertiser-friendly.
- You created the content or have permission to use it commercially.
- You are able to provide documentation proving you own commercial rights to all audio and video content.
