Love Story was fine for a 18years old, just like State Of Grace is fine for a 22 years old..
And Red is coherent, have you read the prologue? Can you just forget the sound for a second and focus on the lyrics? Taylor Swift is lyrics.. Sometimes i feel that you love a song by her just because it's country even if there's a pop-rock song better than it :/
And honestly i feel more worse doing pop mixes for the country songs(like she did with Teardrops, Our Song, Love Story) to get them to be played in pop radios than actually making a real pop song.
Red has really high highs , but also lower lows than any of her other albums. I do think she more interesting now than she was when she debuted though. I like curls better on her, and she should go back to them. They'd be really cute with her shorter hair. Speak Now remains her best album and I think songs like haunted are what I want from her primarily. Kind of uptempo with some momentum, but still feel authentic.

No. This was the Taylor I've been wanting to see for the longest time. People on this site know I've been pushing for edgier Taylor, and she still manages to maintain her sweet disposition. No, I'm not missing old Taylor at all!
her "Fearless" special came on the telly a few nights ago and I realized how I missed her old music. Her old music had more ~soul or something. She wrote about more interesting things and way better songs.
red is my favourite album from her and i hope she goes in the same way on the next album
