Honestly, I'm torn. Her songwriting in general has definitely matured, but I feel like her older music felt much more authentic and more like her than it does now. I'll always love her, but I feel like she should (at some point) at least go somewhat back to her roots.

The old Taylor has that nostalgia factor for me but I still like her.

No not really. I wasn't really fond of her when she was an adolescent because her vocals were intolerable to me. They were just so bad. Her vocals have improved significantly over the years, and I can now tolerate her.

Speak Now is PERFECT. So yes, I miss when she writes all her songs

Sometimes, her curly hair was iconic and she was so sweet but I love her sassy personality now and she looks great with straight hair. I dont love her Karlie look now though. Her music is still good but her previous albums were better

Yeah "Red" was a big step down imo from her earlier releases. It's not necessarily just her going more "pop" that's bad... But the production and lyrics aren't separating her as much as they once did.

Naw, while I prefer the music when she was younger, if she tried to go back to that sort of sound it would not be the same. She needs to keep evolving as an artist to stay fresh. I'm looking forward to whatever Taylor wants to experiment with next.
