I went to prom and wish I hadn't because it was stupid and boring. I didn't want to go but was pressured into it. After prom was alright though we rented a house and partied/ went to the beach.

Yes and I wish I didn't. Not because it was bad, exactly. Just because it was a dinner in a big room with everyone I went to high school with wearing ridiculously age-inappropriate clothes. And they weren't age-appropriate because they were revealing, but because...well, who puts a whole bunch of 18 year olds in suits and floor-length gowns?

No one danced. No one was drunk because we had pre-parties in front of our parents. You couldn't bring alcohol in. Only one girl had an after party and she was really poor, it was just people standing around in her back yard which was covered in dog poo so we left straight away.

Honestly, I wish I didn't go, just so I could have the satisfaction of saying I didn't go to my formal.

IT was 2 months ago, really fun with friends. Most people just went alone, but it was awesome!

Yes, and it was probably one of the greatest nights of my life. I hadn't come out at school yet, so I was terrified to dance with my boyfriend. We finally started swaying to Drops of Jupiter, and then a couple friends and acquaintances noticed and they were all supportive. Nobody said anything bad to us, and we got to finally be recognized as a legitimate couple...Magical.
