- Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings

Television wasn't ruined by reality TV, pop culture moved on from one small blimp in something much bigger than what you're making it out to be. Same with music. And besides music is just as, if not more, subjective as a form of media. It doesn't make or break a decade. If a song is popular then that means people on whole collectively like it. Don't be a pretentious buzz kill just cause you don't like it. Stop complaining about things like this and move on with your life, dude. Seriously.
