Shakira just released the video for La La La (Brasil 2014) and her reception was way better than the WAO song. See the comments below the video asking FIFA for it to be the official song
What is your opinion about this controversy?

THAT SONG DESERVES BE THE OFFICIAL CUP SONG!!!
Pra mim a verdadeira musica oficial da copa do mundo Brasil 2014.
FIFA should replace this song over that pitbull piece of crap as the official song
Hell better than Pitbulls
This could have been the official song
okay so it looks like we all agree this is so much better than pitbull's song, shakira made it again, to me this is the wold cup 2014 song!!!
Shakira and Pique <3!!! Haha also the video is really good one ! It shows way from little boy who loves football and want to make his dream come true to professional footballers like Messi , Pique , Neymar and all that faces with country colors it makes us think that all of fans and players come as one , and feel the atmosfer of World Cup together )
This song should be an official Brasil's song!!! Not this terrible song by Pitbull .
I LOVE IT! I'm so impressed! Too many faces, flags etc. and now I feel this World Cup's climate! Can't wait
again this thread, u guys need to stop trying so hard with this
Trying hard? The video was released today, I was just stating the current situation. You can go on Twitter and check for yourself. I don't stan for Shakira or JLo
Gotta give those guys an applause for trying.
It IS NOT the official song and IT WON'T BE. When will they actually get over the fact that their fave isn't singing the official World Cup song this time? Seriously, they're acting like 3-year-olds.
The trio will perform at the opening of the WC, that's it. YouTube likes/dislikes don't matter. Sales matter. And so far, LLL can't even get close to WAO so...
WAO uses stereotypes of our culture and Claudia Leitte, which is an extremely popular singer, has ridiculously short cameo on the track. And WAO is terrible and people here aren't really fans of Pitbull. Carlinhos Brown may have a short part in La La La, but he is best known here as a producer, and the remodeling that he did in La La La was approved. Besides, the music is catchy and Shakira has a great popular approval.
And don't talk about positions on iTunes, here in Brazil if you sell 100 copies of one music you are already in the top 10. The World Cup always brings elements of local culture for the theme songs, and WAO ridicules our culture. That's why, no matter what JLo and Claudia fans keep buying the music around here, WAO won't have support from the general public.
Anyway, is Ivete Sangalo who will dominate the radio stations here during the World Cup.
La La La is just the better song & the better fitting song for FIFA. I love almost all Pitbull songs, so its not about the singer too.
... Peolpe want an anthem.
